Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most about insurance claims, booking, and repairs. Still have a question? Call or text (626) 965-1114. Service is available in English and Chinese.

Do I have to use the shop my insurance company recommends?

No. In California you have the right to choose your repair shop, and your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific one. We work with all insurance carriers and handle the adjuster communication for you.

Can you help arrange a tow?

Yes. We can arrange a tow to our shop, or help you work with your insurance company or AAA to set one up. Call (626) 965-1114 and we will walk you through it.

Do you use factory (OEM) parts?

We use factory OEM parts whenever possible. It is our preference for fit, safety, and finish. In the end, the choice is yours: we will walk you through your options and what your insurance covers before anything is ordered.

Why is there a fee or deposit to book online?

Online bookings reserve dedicated technician time. Diagnostic and ADAS appointments carry a $250 inspection fee, and maintenance appointments a $50 deposit. Both are credited in full toward your invoice when you approve the work. Collision estimates are always free.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major forms of payment. Full payment is due when you pick up your vehicle.

Do I need to leave my vehicle?

Yes, for most services. Drop-off gives our technician time to complete every step carefully instead of rushing. Collision estimates and quick services such as tire plugs and patches can be done while you wait. We offer complimentary rides home, and rental vehicles are available at a daily rate.

What if the insurance estimate does not cover the full repair?

This is common. Initial estimates often miss hidden damage. We photograph and document everything found during disassembly and submit a supplement to your carrier, so the repair is done right, not just done cheap.

How long will my repair take?

It depends on the service. Full-service maintenance usually takes half a day to a full day, depending on the vehicle and whether you are a new or returning client. Collision repairs take a minimum of three days, depending on the extent of the damage and on insurance approval if you are filing a claim. We keep you updated at every step.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. Our labor is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, and the parts we install carry the manufacturer's warranty. Keep your invoice for your records, and call us if anything about a repair does not feel right.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule by phone at least 24 hours ahead and you can choose store credit for the full amount or a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours receive store credit only, and no-shows forfeit the fee or deposit. If we need to reschedule your appointment, you may choose a full refund. A firm policy lets us hold real technician time for every customer.

What is ADAS calibration, and does my car need it?

ADAS covers features like automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. After a collision, windshield replacement, suspension work, or alignment, these cameras and sensors often need recalibration to work safely. We calibrate to manufacturer specifications and document every calibration.

Do you work on Tesla, European, and luxury vehicles?

Yes. We regularly repair Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Lexus, and other premium vehicles, along with collector and vintage cars. If you have been told your vehicle has to go to the dealer, call us for a second opinion.
